Next Steps for Your Digital Assets

Talk to your estate planning attorney about your digital assets and successors.  Have a conversation with those persons you are considering appointing as successors about their ability and willingness to handle your digital assets.  Make sure that they are willing (and capable) of carrying out your wishes.  Like all other assets, digital assets can be placed into your trust or distributed through a will.  You can also grant access to digital assets through a power of attorney.

Our office can assist you in creating an inventory and succession plan for your digital life.  With our assistance, you can rest easy that your digital assets will be easily located, managed, and passed to your loved ones.
