The most frequent mistake I see people make when considering bankruptcy is waiting too long.
If you are considering filing for bankruptcy, file your bankruptcy sooner rather than later. Some of the behaviors people use to avoid bankruptcy cause serious problems when the person finally admits that they need help. If you find you are
- living on credit cards
- kiting checks to pay for necessities
- avoiding phone calls because you know it’s just another collector
then you should seriously consider filing for bankruptcy soon.
